Contractor COVID-19 Requirements
To protect the residents of Santa Clara County and County of Santa Clara (County) personnel, the County has implemented COVID-19 requirements for all County employees and non-employee personnel who work onsite. Pursuant to these requirements, all County contractors and subcontractors who routinely perform services for the County onsite and share airspace with or proximity to other people at an indoor County facility as part of their services for the County, must be Fully Vaccinated, subject to limited exceptions. The terms “Fully Vaccinated” is defined in the County’s COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement for County Personnel memorandum.
Contractors subject to the County’s COVID-19 requirements must complete the Contractor Certification of Compliance with COVID-19 Vaccine Requirements (“Certification”). Contractors must comply with all COVID-19 vaccination requirements and other workplace safety protocols (e.g., masking) for the entire term of the agreement. Failure by Contractor to comply with these requirements and workplace safety protocols is a material breach of the Agreement, and the County may, in its sole discretion, terminate the Agreement immediately or take other action as the County may determine to be appropriate.
The State and County periodically update their orders and other requirements regarding COVID-19. Contractors are responsible for reviewing and maintaining compliance with all subsequent revisions or amendments to these orders and requirements and should check this website periodically for updates.
